Volunteers of The Palm Beaches is a part of Volunteers of Today Inc, a nonprofit corporation whose mission is to engage locals with volunteer opportunities that foster community, better neighborhoods and strengthen nonprofits.
We work with local nonprofits to help them fill their need for volunteers they depend on to make their organizations excel. We also offer our own volunteer opportunities that make a positive impact. We schedule and host group volunteer activities for Palm Beach County locals, organizations and businesses.
Doing good shouldn't be complicated, so we make volunteering EASY! We offer a wide range of volunteer programs.
Meet the Founders
Volunteers of The Palm Beaches was started by Kimberly Maxwell in June of 2017, as a grassroots volunteer group. The group grew organically for almost 2 years, gaining over 1,000 volunteer members. In May of 2019 Kimberly and her mother Sherry McCay founded Volunteers of Today Inc. Together the mother-daughter duo are positively impacting communities, and are excited about the future. To date the nonprofit organization has given back over $100,000 in volunteer time to Palm Beach County causes, and is in the process of continuing to expand locally, as well as grow nationally to other cities.
"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has."
We'll forever be thankful to our Palm Beach County Founding Members:
